This Baker’s exclusive release combines one of the most iconic engineer boot patterns ever made with one of Horween’s most rugged and historically rich leathers. Originally inspired by military field applications where durability and abrasion resistance mattered above all else, Marine Field Roughout was designed to thrive under hard use. Wearing the roughout side outward helped conceal scuffs, improve toughness, and create a boot that looked better the harder it was worked.
That same spirit lives in this build.
The dense grain structure, deep character, and natural variation of Horween Marine Field Roughout give every pair a unique appearance right out of the box - and over time, the leather develops a rich, broken-in patina that only gets better with wear.
