Foot Measuring Tips
NEW TO BAKER'S? FIRST TIME ORDERS - Please Follow These Instructions:
- Put on socks that you want to wear with your boots and sit in a chair. Holding a pencil or pen straight up and down, outline each foot on a sheet of paper.
- While still seated, measure your foot with a cloth or paper measure tape as shown in diagram below. Hold the tape on the big knuckle of your big toe, called the ball joint, and pull it down across the bottom of your foot to the little knuckle, little ball joint, then back up to the starting point, so that you get the full circumference of your foot. This will establish the width of your foot.
- Measure around your leg at the 6", 8", 10", 14" and 16" intervals from heel to desired boot height. Example: if you want a 10" high boot, send us your 6", 8" and 10" measurements.
- Indicate your normal boot or shoe size, length and width. Print out this chart and mail it to us along with your order form. We discourage faxing or emailing tracings. They distort when printed and skew the measurements and can lead to false sizing.
If you wear the same brand of boots you are buying and you like the fit, please bypass the foot measuring instructions - just give us your size.
If your foot tracings and measurements indicate that you need a special pattern, we will notify you before starting your order.
Please indicate if there are additional instructions. Please printed on 8.5" x 14" legal paper to ensure accuracy.
